What photo editing program is out there, that is equal to Di Empty What photo editing program is out there, that is equal to Di

I need to replace my beloved Digital Image Pro, photo editing prog. Gimp is more than I can understand, and more than I need. I checked out Pegasus and that is too simple. I need the same features as DIP. Change back ground, cut out items, change colors, special effects, detailed touch up etc. Is there a site to sample various photo editing programs?

Fireworks or Photoshop are the top of the line. Photoshop might be a bit more then you need though. Both are Adobe.
