Goofing around this morning

I've been bouncing off the walls working on some wedding images from last weekend and decided to do some shooting. I'm getting ready to shoot two new series and wanted to get a little practice.

I guess it'd be easier for us to comment if we had an idea of what the new series were going to be:

"Guy In Door Way"
"Duel Poses Sans Guns"
"Shirtless Men" (although I think Shirtless Females would be better but I could be bias)
etc etc

Just got another idea... you're not doing a twisted steel shoot are you?

That red carpet is awesome, you don't see that colour of broadloom that often.

I guess that would help Curt. And it's not twisted steel, though that would be a neat idea.
One series is going to be about mma fighters. I started a series about professional boxers about a year ago. I want to keep up with prizefighters, but I'd like to give this series a new asthetic. That would be the idea behind the photo above. (but not in my doorway.)

The other series is quite a bit different. It's still running around in my head and nothing on film yet, but, I'm going to do a Norman Rockwell style portrait series. Since I'm still not 100% sure of the layouts, I'm going to try and shoot a few different ideas this weekend and see which one I like. Hopefully I'll have something to post next week.

Thanks Ken. But I have to admit that the carpet in my house is actually pink and not red. (just bought the house) I had to change it. How tough is pink?

I can see where you're going with the MMA idea then as I have viewed your prize fighter series on your site. Your like seems more fight club but once again that could be setting.

We need to get in contact sometime this week and go and destroy some things then take pictures of the destruction. You'll be hearing from me -- or my people.
