Now official - Franke & Heidecke is shutting down
Words cannot express how much this sucks!!!
Franke & Heidecke, the makers of the wonderful and historically signficant Rolleiflex and Rollei cameras along with the current Leaf AFi and Sinar Hy6 systems will be shutting down no later than September.

This has been out for two months but somehow I missed it.
Luckily for us, Rolleiflexes are built to last unlike the majority of today's plastic wonders. We will still be enjoying Rolleiflexes and Rollei cameras for decades to come.

The Rolleiflex is not dead yet. F&H's former director Hans Hartje has established a new company called DHW Photo and wants to take over and resume production of the Rolleiflex.

Re: Now official - Franke & Heidecke is shutting down
I've noticed that my photos on the web finally look as they are in Photoshop. For some reason, I've always experience a colour shift when viewing my photos on Firefox, IE and even Safari. I'm not sure why. I tried must have tried everything on the web on how to correct the problem but it wouldn't go away. I find Chrome quicker than both Firefox and Safari too. I've only been playing around with it for an hour but I think I'll probably make it my default browser.
