Fuji discontinues Single-8 film
Fuji discontinues Single-8 film for video. Single-8 format was their answer to Kodak's Super-8 film but never became as popular. It was only really popular in Japan. It was a superior format to the Super-8 cartridge. The cartridge could record going forward or backwards. In addition, the cartridge had a metal pressure plate instead of a plastic one.

Re: Fuji discontinues Single-8 film
I saw a single-8 camera at Value Village recently and left it there because I had never heard of the film and figured it was long discontinued.
I want to find a nice little super-8 camera and do some home movies.
