Lake Superior Last Night
I've been pretty busy, so I haven't been out shooting in a while, and haven't been around here much as well. I'm hoping that will change, and I'll get out more. With that said, I did manage to get out last night, as I just had to get out. I took a ride out to Gros Cap, because it's close by and a nice place to shoot, and was happy with my results. I'm still going through them all, but this one really jumped out at me as being the favourite. I used as Cokin 2-Stop GND to balance out the exposure of the sky, and did some minor tweaks and cleanup in Lightroom and Photoshop.

I find that you are using the entire frame better. Nice composition and colours.

The colour of that water just before the rocks is simply awesome. I saw this smaller on FB and was "meh" to it but seeing the larger me likes.
And thanks for inviting me out with you

Just like the rest said, great shot with beautiful colors.
The shutter speed selection is great. I love the smokey looking water over the red rock.

The image works great as a whole, but you could also crop out the top half and have a great shot of the rock detail... or crop out the bottom half and have a nice sunset shot.
3 great shots in one!
