I'm not completely sure what the ball field was called--it's up between Korah Rd. and Peoples Rd. Anyway, sweet location for catching such storms, but the storm itself just refused to co-operate. This is actually cropped a little bit (well, a lot) compared to the original, but it was the only actual BOLT that I caught, and it happened to be in the far corner of the frame.

Yah saw it on Flickr. Nice job. Wonder how well it'd blow up.

In before cujo mentions the horizon Very Happy

It's fisheye! I'm sure he can understand the problems associated with fisheyes and horizons (especially in zero light). Smile

WOW I sound like a hardass.

The field is Tom Tipton or Elliot Fields -- I think the soccer fields had one name and the ball fields the other (that is the spot you're talking about right).

I don't mind the horizon here as you were trying something and it somewhat works. My only complaint right now Wink is that the pic is too small to really see anything (heading over to flickr).

Yeah, I accidentally copied the URL for the small version. Not that it looks pretty at the bigger sizes anyways Razz

This is a petty neat photo. It's too bad you can't crop in on it more. Would be a great photo if the lightening took up most of the shot. Good job catching it though.
