ND Filters - What & Where
I'm going on a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in a few months, and I would love to have an ND filter or two with me for the sunrise/sunset pictures I plan to take. However, I have no idea what brands are available/recommended, and where to find them.
Anybody have any recommendations on what to get, and where to find them (locally or online)? Thanks.

The only place I have seen them locally is at Camera Craft on Queen Street. They carry a few different brands in assorted sizes.

Re: ND Filters - What & Where
I find the prices cameracanada.com fairly reasonable. I have an ND4 and ND8 el-cheapo Hoyas and have been happy with them.

Thanks for the replies guys. I should have been a little more specific and stated that I'm looking for graduated ND filters... the large rectangular ones.
I have not been able to find any locally, but I just remembered about the Henry's website. I found the Cokin holder & filters, which apparently is a good starter system.
I will keep the Hoyas in mind, as I'm sure I would use them as well.

Re: ND Filters - What & Where
The reason why is because Cokin has not had a Canada wide distributer for quite some time now. Meaning that most Canadian photography stores can't get them in by the usual channels.
I understand that Cokin is now changing that, but slowly.
Good luck in your hunt.

With the US dollar being near par with the Canadian dollar, I'm sure a good deal could be had at B&H, Adorama, or Beach.
Re: ND Filters - What & Where
www.henrys.ca is having free shipping for the month of February. A good opportunity to get Toronto selection without paying for the gas.
Re: ND Filters - What & Where
I highly recommend CameraFilters.com. Their shipping charges are cheap. When you need a odd-sized or rare filter, I would check with them first. I got a brand new B+W 19mm UV filter for my Leica 50mm f/3.5 Elmar. Everybody I contacted either told me that the filter was a special order item that could take months to get or that it didn't even exist. CameraFilters.com had it and I received it the next week.

Thanks for all the info guys, much appreciated. I'll be sure to check out all the different websites soon, and do some comparisons.
Re: ND Filters - What & Where
I finally got around to it, and placed my order from henrys.ca. Thanks Kenneth for the heads up on the free shipping... I almost left it too late.
I ordered the Cokin 'P' holder, adaptor ring and 2-stop ND4 graduated grey filter. I'll eventually get the ND2 & ND8 filters.
This should definitely help out for the dominican sunrise pictures I plan to take in a few weeks time.
