I'm really digging all of these TBH. The first bridge shots are nice and sharp (although I'm detecting a lot of compression), and the colors are nice.

Looks like you've got a sturdy tripod anyways Smile

Pretty nice long exposure stuff. I was impressed coming in here, I was expecting something less and I don't know why, just random shots but that could possibly be because of what I shot today was just random crap.

Is this the 50 1.4 for the Nikon? I can't keep track anymore.

Also I know I'm the "horizon nazi" but the second last one I have to mention mostly because of the lights and their placement beside each other you can really see the angle. Besides that though, nice tests.

They all look great, but I'm digging #2 the most. I'm curious to know if you were using a Nikon 50mm f/1.8, Nikon 50mm f/1.4 or a different brand altogether? Also, what aperture were you using for most of these... I'm liking the effects of the lights (the term is not coming to mind at the moment)?

Nikon 50mm f/1.8, as far as the aparature, on most of them i used a very small aparature, to get the long exposure..

Really nice work malibu. My favorite shot has to be the second one, awesome composition, light and color.
Looks like a fun lens. Are you ever going to look at the night time the same again?

Awesome shots!! Can't wait to get out and play with my 50mm 1.4. Oh if only the weather and time would co-operate!

Really nice way to break in the new lens by shooting around it's strengths. I like how you resisted shooting wide open with most, if not all of these, too.
